Although we offer a core trusted CPD programme, every delivery is planned with you, adapted to suit your needs. We encourage you to use the planning template (free) below to help ensure impact and sustainability. These may include lesson monitoring and support, teacher training and subject leader support. Planning Professional Development:

Schools face ever increasing challenges when considering their budgets. Schools in England for example have been helped in terms of PE by the inclusion of the PE and sport premium grant. However, this is ceasing in 2027 and schools will face the real prospect of having to plan CPD in new ways, evidencing need and careful consideration of what they are seeking to achieve. This may include applying for external funding for example. Schools and school leaders, must consider impact and value for money (VFM) as well as the sustainability of any planned professional development, especially where costs are involved. We encourage schools to consider looking at the use of templates for staff to use in order to show how they have considered such aspects as impact, sustainability and outcomes. To help we have provided an adaptable template which schools could use. This would help staff to advocate and evidence their rationale for the event, course etc.

Getting a whole staff meeting date, or getting all staff together can be difficult. We therefore offer an essential online foundation course for ALL staff. This offers a cost effective way to build and sustain knowledge. It can boost staff confidence and competence. It also builds capacity and capability in your staff.

All our courses, twilights and INSET are evaluated by staff and schools are actively encouraged to photocopy their staff responses to inform practice, review impact and look at how to further support and monitor the desired outcomes.
