These Assessment Sheets are aligned with our FREE to download Intent & Skills Progression Map (template). They are designed to be modified and adapted to suit your needs, your scheme of work. The key is to adapt them by choosing a more limited number of the Assessment Criteria – 5 to 8 max. Make sure that you select from across the colour bands to provide assessment on knowledge, skills and understanding (KSU) rather than just focusing upon the physical domain and skill performance.
Freely available, free to edit. They are not meant as a definitive or ‘perfect’ model but rather as a support to assist subject leaders when looking at their coherent, planned and sequenced learning for gymnastics. Compatible with commercial schemes of work and aligned with NCPE 2014 content and aims.
