This problem involves the pupils in a whole host of aspects such as communication, collaboration, listening, perseverance, trial and error etc.

The task involves swopping one group of ‘players’ for the other using simple forward only moves as described on the card.

It’s not as easy as you think! It has significant links to numeracy through number sequences and patterns and also makes a good Active Maths lesson / investigation.
