Leading PE – Embedding PE

This is another key document from our work on The National Qualification in Leadership & Management in Primary PE. Colleagues have asked us to share this as they found the process model and key lines of enquiry (KLOE) useful when considering, reviewing and planning their provision for Physical Education and PESSPA.

It is offered as a tool for use and we would love to support your development in PE work as a subject leader through our National Qualification – now available on-line. This is just one of the many tools and process models which we use to help support and guide you to outstanding PE (PESSPA) provision. Why not consider the course? Details of our online programme are on our training & CPD page of this site.

The resource helps embed PE (PESSPA) by aligning it with whole school developments, intent, vision & values, talks about the need to work with Governors and to advocate the importance of PE to all. We are also passionate that ALL pupils are provided with a high quality PE (PESSPA) experience and entitlement and that PE is not just about those who compete, or initiative overload.

We do not offer this resource as a perfect example and this is not provided as an extensive resource to colleagues.

If you find this resource helpful in considering the bigger picture, building systemic change then imagine what you could achieve with us through the National Qualification – ‘Don’t just coordinate PE – LEAD it!’
