Spotlight on Swimming

A new advocacy resource to support schools to consider using the Primary PE and sport premium to tackle inequalities in swimming.

With recent reports and experience of how many primary pupils are leaving school unable to swim effectively, efficiently or even over the minimum requirement of 25m, this resource is a welcome support. Produced collaboratively by afPE, YST and Actice Partnerships and with further reading and support available from Black Swimming Association, Royal Life Saving Society and Swim England – this is a resource schools should access.
