VisionED is delighted to announce a new partnership with Les Mills, Global Leader in the Fitness industry and their new programme for educational markets – Born To Move.
BORN TO MOVE Virtual is a Netflix-style platform offering fun-filled classes to inspire kids of all ages and abilities to be active. Created by global fitness company Les Mills, the screen-based classes incorporate a range of movement patterns – including Strength, Stretching, Martial Arts, Core, Dance, Yoga and mindfulness – designed to support physical literacy, confidence and self-esteem. They are ideal to engage pupils with across the PE and physical literacy landscape. The programme builds capacity through training ‘Activators’ (which can be pupils, parents, Teachers or Teaching Assistants) and is sustainable whilst addressing the global issue of children and young people not being active enough.
The progressive classes are ‘for kids by kids’ with trained pupils leading their peers. Tailored for age groups ranging from 4 up to 16-years-old, the sessions feature music hand-picked by their peers. Schools can get involved in an exciting Pilot for Les Mills Born To Move through VisionED. Do you want to get your pupils more engaged in health and fitness? Do you want to inspire them to have a genuine love of being active, moving and having fun? Then Born To Move is for you. As well as providing access to hundreds of high quality, age appropriate workouts for pupils, with modern music and easy access – Born To Move also links to Parents – offering them access to over 500 brilliant workouts to engage in at home, with their wider family and of course the pupils – but in their own home! Born To Move gets parents and children exercising – both in school and at home.
